ABOUT AMY
Amy is a beauty entrepreneur, CEO of award-winning beauty brand, Hollywood Browzer Beauty, BBC Apprentice candidate, media commentator and TV presenter. She is a former actress and theatre producer known for her roles both on stage and off, as well as her roles in front of and behind the camera.
Amy’s love for entertainment started at an early age when she started performing in local theatre productions. From the age of 10, she sang jingles for hundreds of commercials including those for McDonald’s, Coca-Cola (I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing’) and Connect 4.
She continued performing as an adult appearing in dozens of musicals such as the US Tour of Annie, the European Tour of Grease, Happy Days The Musical, and Cinderella (panto) with Jimmy Osmond. Amy’s TV and film credits include Mrs. Zane in Kick Ass 2 and Nick Cannon’s Short Circuit on MTV. Amy also appeared in the first season of The Bachelor in the US in 2002.
In 2013, Amy switched gears and began producing theatre. Her first production was the UK & Ireland tour of Happy Days The Musical. Her journey producing the show was documented on the Channel 4 documentary series, The Sound Of Musicals. Amy won the hearts of UK audiences throughout the series with her never ending ‘glass half full’ attitude as she overcame many hurdles along the way. Despite her many setbacks, Amy got the show up and running and toured the UK and Ireland for six months entertaining audiences around the country. She subsequently produced Moby Dick, the UK premieres of The Life, Sideways, Vanities, Casa Valentina, and the Olivier award winning Dreamgirls on the West End.
Amy’s love of beauty and background in entertainment led her to launching her beauty brand, Hollywood Browzer Beauty in 2017, as she wanted everyone to experience the same tools that Hollywood celebrities have used on them by their makeup artists. Her award-winning products focus on dermaplaning, a form of exfoliation that removes the top layer of dead dull skin, peach fuzz and built-up debris leading to multiple benefits including better product penetration, a flawless makeup application, and radiant, glowing skin. Amy is adamant that dermaplaning should be an integral part of every woman’s beauty routine and believes that every woman would benefit from using Hollywood Browzer Beauty’s dermaplaning products.
In 2022, Amy appeared as a candidate on season 16 of The Apprentice on BBC One, battling it out for a place as Lord Sugar’s next business partner. Despite not making it to the final, Amy entertained the national throughout the series while proving herself as an entrepreneur and business professional - and was the stand out candidate of the series.
Amy can be seen presenting Hollywood Browzer Beauty products on TV Shopping Channels around the world including QVC UK, QVC Germany, and QVC Italy inspiring women globally to incorporate ‘Browzing’ or dermaplaning into their lives. She is also a media commentator for TV and radio channels across the UK.
